Enjoy it...

On a recent trip, we met an older couple who just loved getting to meet Isaiah. As they were squeezing our little guys cheeks and playing peek-a-boo with him, they paused and shared this little piece of sage wisdom:

“Enjoy it. Enjoy it while you have a chance. Because the days are long but the years are short.”

Now more than ever, we recognize that every child is a precious gift from God.

What a gift our sweet Isaiah is to us...

How precious, how precious you are...our sweet little Isaiah. You bring pure joy to Nana and Papa! You are getting to be so big and tall...but you will always be our sweet little Isaiah.
We love you to the moon and stars!

Hi Ross and Taya,
What a bright smile Isaiah has - and he's growing so fast! Our firstborn just turned 16...your new friends have it right - those years go by SO, SO FAST. And it's probably the biggest adventure anyone could ever have. :) Thanks for your mailings - I always read the stories to my family. I'm going to add you to my list of "blogs to check regularly". Love, Megan

What a happy "big" fellow. He is so growing. Thank you for the Christmas Card. We love you guys and are praying for you. Linda and Lanny

Pray for Us...

  • For Ross: I'm very excited about this new year of ministry. For a time, I was down in the dumps, but God has recently given me a fresh perspective and renewed desire to use the platform he's given me for reaching the lost with gospel and the hopeless with true hope & encouragement.
  • For Taya: As can be expected for the mom of a two-year-old, I’m tired! Also, I’m always asking God for wisdom, and the strength to be consistent in parenting and teaching Isaiah.
  • For Isaiah: We’re really trying to teach “God’s little boy” self-control and patience. We need extra wisdom and strength when we travel as we try to parent on the road.
