For Ross: I'm very excited about this new year of ministry. For a time, I was down in the dumps, but God has recently given me a fresh perspective and renewed desire to use the platform he's given me for reaching the lost with gospel and the hopeless with true hope & encouragement.
For Taya: As can be expected for the mom of a two-year-old, I’m tired! Also, I’m always asking God for wisdom, and the strength to be consistent in parenting and teaching Isaiah.
For Isaiah: We’re really trying to teach “God’s little boy” self-control and patience. We need extra wisdom and strength when we travel as we try to parent on the road.
Ross was raised in British Columbia,
Canada and moved to Lynden, WA with his family as a teenager. Taya was born and raised in Lynden, WA. We met in high school, and were married shortly after Taya finished studies at Western Baptist College in 1999. We had been self-employed in the mini-storage industry for several years before realizing that God was calling us to serve as full-time missionaries with FamilyLife. We have been married for seven years and we were blessed with our first child, Isaiah David John, in April of 2005.
Although we are based in Little Rock, AR, we work with volunteer teams all around the country to help promote and host the "Weekend to Remember" marriage conference and bring hope and encouragement to marriages and families.
Partner with Us...
None of us have too look to far to see the effects of struggling marriages and families. The divorce statistics are staggering, millions of children are living as orphans in this world, and countless moms, dads, and children are crying out for hope. We believe that there is hope for these families. And we can see that God is at work- changing the world...one home at a time.
We believe it so strongly that we have chosen to spend our lives offering that hope to others. And we couldn't do it without a team of partners who enable us to serve as full-time missionaries to the family. If God has laid it on your heart to partner with us in reaching out to families in need you can click on this link to find out more: give.ccci.org/give/0571740
If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be?
