"It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord." [Psalm 92:1] We had our first Thanksgiving away from our family here in Little Rock. Our friends Adam and Laura Brown invited us over to share it with them...so it was a Black and Brown Thanksgiving. We had a lot of fun together and Isaiah loves playing with the girls.
(yeah, we got a little homesick too-with all that time of sharing what we're thankful for we couldn't help but miss our family back at home)
We have so much to be thankful for. Sometimes we have to stop ourselves from not just being thankful for the "things" but to be thankful for the One who gives them. All that we've been blessed with is not the best part of our life; the best part of our life is that we have someone who loves to bless us. "O Lord, that lends me life, Lend me a heart replete with thankfulness!"[William Shakespeare]
