Cookie Factory

Yesterday I (Taya) got together with some friends and spent the day Christmas baking. It was such a great time, and Isaiah had so much fun playing with the other kids. We all went over to my friend Robyn's house (she lives just a few blocks away from us) at about 9:30am. Everyone that came brought 2 double batches of 2 different kinds of cookie dough and then we baked them off throughout the day and spent several hours decorating the cookies together. It was so much fun and the best part was spending the day together.



Isaiah loved spending the day with his friends too. It's great to give him a chance to play with other kids. I was wondering if he would even fall asleep when I put him down for a nap, because he was just having so much fun. There was quite a bit of noise coming out of the room that I had put him down in, but after a while it got much quieter so I thought he had fallen asleep...I was wrong. When I went to peek on him I saw him standing in his "pack & play" with all the other kids playing right around him. He just loved the thought of having kids entertain him during nap-time. Needless to say, he was very tired when we got him home that night.










After we got done baking and decorating the cookies we put them on plates and wrapped and decorated the plates. This Saturday the three of us are going to deliver them to our neighbors. We're excited for this opportunity to get to visit with our neighbors and give them this little gift.
