~Walt Whitman
The heavens keep telling the wonders of God, and the skies declare what he has done.
Each day informs the following day; each night announces to the next.
They don't speak a word, and there is never the sound of a voice.
Yet their message reaches all the earth, and it travels around the world...
Let my words and my thoughts be pleasing to you, LORD,
because you are my mighty rock and my protector.
~from Psalm 19
"Twinkle, twinkle little star" has been climbing the charts at our house lately and I've also been quite fascinated with some of the recent space stories in the news. I think it's pretty amazing that NASA can send a crew of astronauts to leave our planet, connect with the space station (which is only the size of a couple of school buses) and do a spacewalk to repair a massive solar panel while hurling through the atmosphere at a speed of 17,500 mph... and yet a shepherd boy named David who lived in a tiny little village in a tiny little country over 3000 years ago may have had a greater grasp of how big space is and what a mighty God created it. When David thought about the vastness and the splendor of space it caused him to take a closer look at his own life, confess any sin, declare his trust in the mighty God, and shout his praises.

What a treat to hear his sweet little voice singing...the tears just flowed....
Did you know, son...that "God is so Good" was your favorite song when you were little? It remains one of Dad's and my special memories of you and we sing it together often. Thanks for singing to Nana and Papa, Isaiah.
We love you to the moon and stars!
