I am a Family Man...

Spending time with the boys this past weekend reminded me how blessed I am to have these two incredible boys in my life.

We made blanket forts, watched cartoons, drank chocolate milk, read books, wrestled, sang, and played trucks... and I savored every minute of it.  This is so much better than I could have ever imagined.

What a blessing to your wife and those precious boys Ross. Thank you for letting your love for family and the ministry you have in your home shine.

Yeah it's a great T-shirt huh? It's from an excellent organization called "To Write Love on Her Arms". They reach out to people who are struggling with addictions, depression and hopelessness.

The guy that started it was talking with a girl who had been cutting her arms with razors and ended up having a drug overdose. He took her to a detox center but they wouldn't accept her, so he gathered a group of friends to be the church and the hospital for her over the course of the next 5 days. He wanted her to know that hope was possible and instead of cuts and blood he wanted to write love on her arms. It's a pretty beautiful story.

I love their vision:
The vision is the possibility that your best days are ahead.

The vision is the possibility that we're more loved than we'll ever know.

The vision is hope, and hope is real.

You are not alone, and this is not the end of your story.
