Well, we just wrapped up our first ever Thanksgiving with just the three of us. The "people-person" in Ross was all peopled out and we've spent so much time away from home that it was just nice to spend time at home as a family. It was also the first time we've ever cooked a turkey dinner, so we both got up this morning, ate breakfast, and then started cooking at about 9:00am. We made an apple pie, pumpkin pie, turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy, candied yams, and honey-glazed carrot's. It was only after we were done eating and started working on the dishes that we realized we will be eating Thanksgiving dinner for the next several weeks. We had a lot of fun together and that was probably exactly what we needed. We've been through many ups and downs this year, but there is always so much to be thankful for. Just like we hear from Isaiah about twenty times a day... "God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, He's so good to me."
