We know that many of you will be out watching Fireproof tonight (we do hope you support this great movie on opening weekend!), but for those who stay home tonight there's probably a good chance you'll be watching at least part of the Presidential Debates on TV.
This is an exciting year for us because Ross recently became a US citizen and it's the first time Ross will be able to vote in a Presidential election. As we watch the politics unfold and see how the candidates confront, ignore, or deny the issues, there is one thing that our family is really watching for- their stance on human life. We both believe that until we start protecting human life, none of the other stuff really matters...
We aren't "Catholic", but we do love the way they have cut through to what is truly important in the following clip:
As the clip said, some things really are "more important than others." Every election is important, and we feel so privileged to have the opportunity to participate in it this year. What do you think of the video? What do you think of the election? What do you think is most important? Let us know in the comments!
p.s. If you are wondering what it looks like when someone DOESN'T protect human life, read this post.

Excellent video...so true that we MUST PROTECT HUMAN LIFE. All the other issues pale in comparison.
We must all get out and vote in this critical election. I look forward to my first time of letting my voice be heard at the polls. May God bless America as we humble ourselves and pray that God would heal our land!
Impressive video, Ross. I'm going to post it on my Facebook page with your caveat that though we're not "Catholic" we do stand with all people who stand up for life. Thanks for allowing others to see this and may the Lord use it to draw people near to Him and to support causes that honor Him.
Preciate cha!
Rick
