Here are a couple cute quotes from Isaiah recently...
Taya: "Isaiah, I'm so glad you're my boy."
Isaiah: "Mommy, I'm so glad you're my girl."
Isaiah came up to me with his eyes closed and said, "Look Mommy! The electricity is out of my eyes!"
We were in a very public area and I mentioned to Ross that I was going to go to the bathroom. As I was walking away Isaiah shouted, "Lean forward Mommy!"
We were making a ginger bread train and Isaiah wanted to eat it very badly. I told him we could after Daddy had seen it. After thinking about it for a few minutes he then told me, "Daddy called me on my cell phone and said we could eat it!" No he does not have his own cell phone! Where did he get that idea?
No matter how many times we correct him, these words always come out the same:
"awfuls" = waffles
"caterpillar noodles" = spiral pasta
"han-gah-burger" = hamburger
"ac-tib-ity" or "na-tib-ity" = nativity
"hel-i-cofter" = helicopter
swimming "kool" = pool
When he prays and thanks God for our family, he always includes himself. :)
He has such a heart for the world and he loves to pray for others, especially those in other countries. We were talking about being thankful for the food we have because other kids don't have a lot of food and Taya mentioned Janet in Kenya and Isaiah piped in, "and the kids in China and Brazil and Canada!"
Lastly, we asked if he would pray for our dinner the other night and he said "I'd be glad to." He folded his hands, closed his eyes, bowed his head and said "Dear Jesus, thank you for the food, may I please be excused. Amen."
What a gift to be able to spend time with this sweet boy. We are so blessed!
