"Remember: A stingy planter gets a stingy crop; a lavish planter gets a lavish crop. I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give." -2Corinthians 9 (The Message)Here's how you plant a stingy crop: be overly critical, refuse to overlook an offense, serve yourself first, focus on what you don't have instead of what you do have...
Here are some seeds of lavishness: give a sincere compliment, pray for your spouse, be thankful, plan a date, speak well of them to the kids/in-laws/friends/co-workers, help them out with a pesky task, ask questions & then really listen...
Whether you realize it or not, you'll be planting seeds all week... as the scripture verse says- take time to think it over, make up your mind in advance (instead of just reacting to your mood or the challenges of the day), plant wisely, plant lavishly, & expect a good harvest.
