It's here! It's finally here! I (Taya) have been so excited to start a new scrapbooking project called Project Life. Created by Becky Higgins, it is a scrapbooking kit that helps you capture one moment each day for a year. This will be an incredible year for our family and I'm so excited to capture the day-by-day moments in addition to the gigantic, enormous, move-your-family-to-the-other-side-of-the-planet moments. Here's a sample of a few of the photos and journal entries that have gone into my scrapbook so far, and I'll try to share an update each Tuesday.
January 7: Moving day, again. Every few weeks we change homes between our parents. Honestly, it's hard. But we don't want either of our parents to feel left out & we know it's a good prep for what we have ahead of us. It's teaching us to let go, to be more flexible, & has helped us realize we can live with a lot less.
January 9: The day finally came & at 2:18pm Todd & Colleen welcomed their little girl Emily Leona into this world. Because of the Swine Flu scare, no visitors were allowed at the hospital so we got to catch our first glimpse of this precious gift on Facebook. We love her already =).
January 11: Every Monday the young mom's from Grace get together for play group & today I got to host my first one. I love these gals and I'm thankful for these moments with them!
January 12: SO proud of Isaiah. He read his first book today!
January 13: Love the joy on each of your faces and I'm once again thankful for this time we have together.
January 16: Isaiah LOVES John Deere tractors and Grandpa just bought a new one! In one afternoon, Isaiah went from playing in the living room with a die-cast tractor, to driving a real one!
January 17: Happy birthday to me! Mom made her homemade lasagna as a special treat for my birthday tonight. Of all the meals my mom makes, this is my favorite. Thanks Mom!

Beautiful, Taya. It's going to be an amazing year.
I didn't realise swine flu was still such a big thing over there, shame you have to miss those newborn snuggles!
